UP, DOWN, ALL AROUND

A production of a full-length work devised and performed by the Teen Ensemble. This production explores the literal and metaphorical experience of looking up, down and all around. The first half of the show explores the ways the theme shows up in the media and the second half explores the ways the theme shows up in real life: What do we see when we look up? What makes us look down? What are we hoping to see? What don’t we see?

Ensemble Members: Adolfo, Aiden, Brooke, Cae, Hannah, Jai-Lyzz, Kaytie, Melanie, Naseem, Olive, & Rebecca.

Directors: Kat Almirañez, Marchánt Davis, Anna Phillips, Michael Propster, & Ally Thomas,

Welcome to The 52nd Street Project’s podcast — The PROJcast! The PROJcast offers a behind-the-scenes view of the work of the Project as the kids create and explore theater as well as other art forms, such as song, dance, poetry, film, radio and more. Long term-mentoring relationships form the basis of much of the Project’s work, and these episodes will feature reporting, stories, performances and interviews with kids and adults.
