Teen Ensemble
MORE THAN WORDS
Over the course of the academic year, the Teen Ensemble, which is made up of Project members in high school, has been meeting once a week and practicing collaborative theatre processes. These have included improvisation, theatre design, technical theatre, and playbuilding. The culmination of all their work is MORE THAN WORDS, an original play devised and performed by the Teens Ensemble and co-directed by adults. In this production, the Teen Ensemble explores the moments when we are speechless, by choice or circumstance. What are the silent stories beneath the soundtrack of the city?
Ensemble Members: Aengus, Amirah, Evaluna, Kassandra, Kaytie, Kylee, Maria, Melanie, Naseem, Sarah, & Xavier.
Teen Ensemble Lead Director: Kat Almirañez
Co – Directors: Jose-Maria Aguila, Abby Dziura, Ana Gonzalez-Soto, & Betsy Hogg.
PLEASE NOTE: This is an original work devised by the Teen Ensemble, it contains mature themes and language.
